Elisa aka Izela is a vocalist and songwriter based in Toulouse, France, who is active writing for and together with other artists, producers and composers like Forum and Burr Oak. Fusing jazz, country, blues and bluegrass musical influences for a unique and tone vocal style, Izela jumped straight into the Bass Music industry after lending her voice to Forum’s Right in Time track.
A chorister at Nice’s Opera (South of France) from the age of 8, she draws on her inspiration from dramatic Italian opera including love, family, everyday drama and death, to create heady and melodic lyrics. At first a fan of metal, her love for electronic music developed at a young age and was confirmed when she saw the set of I AM LEGION (Noisia & Foreign Beggars).
